Pro Mx Pee wee motocross training

Pro Mx Pee Wee Motocross Training in Conroe, Texas

Each class is limited to 3 riders for maximum one on one learning. We teach riders ages 3 – 10. No prior riding experience needed.

This is Beginner instruction on how to become a better, faster, and safer rider. Whether you race motocross or ride for the fun of the sport, the more control you have over the motorcycle the more confidence you gain. Below are the important training points we will cover.
Off the bike:
Body position, head position, arm position, wrist position, foot position, weighting pegs, mastering controls, these positions must be taught and learned prior to riding the motorcycle.

On the bike:
1)    Flat Corners: we start with the basics; you need to master flat turns before attempting ruts or berms. Body positioning going into corners, during the turn, then exiting the turn will be taught. We will teach outside elbow up, square shoulders, outside knee pressed against tank, weight outside foot peg, inside leg up. When to stand and when to sit. We will practice with cones using ovals. Once these fundamentals are mastered, we will teach later braking into turns, then immediately begin rolling on the throttle smoothly. Increasing corner speed and momentum though the apex will significantly reduce your lap times on the track. If you save just ½ second in the corner, you can multiply that by the number of turns on a racetrack. This is a significant way to immediately make you a faster racer.
2)    Rutted Corners: (advanced pee wee riders only) Once we finish and master flat corners ruts are next. They are more difficult to master but with proper technique and body positioning you will become better and faster through rutted turns.
3)    Berms: The most fun of all motocross turns! You will learn to brake later and accelerate smoother exiting the berm. You can gain corner speed with the proper berm techniques.
4)    Jumps: Everyone loves jumping, you will learn proper body positioning and throttle control. Learning proper jumping will make you a safer rider.
5)    Braking: Many faster riders gain positions during a race by outbarking their competitors. We will teach the techniques to brake as late as possible entering the turns.
Once you learn the proper techniques you can practice them over and over until they become natural. Practicing these techniques will make you excel in your riding and racing.
